Musical Theater Choir

Description

This workshop is designed for actors who want to deepen their musicality and harmony skills. Together, we’ll learn 3–4 large Broadway ensemble pieces with a focus on teamwork, vocal technique, and performance. The goal is to elevate your musical confidence and create something powerful as a group.

  • Tech Rehearsal: November 19th 4:00-8:30 pm (at the theater)
  • Performance: November 20th 7:00 pm (5:00 pm Actor Call)

FAQ's

Open enrollment happens twice a year. You can sign up between June and August for the Fall session or between October and November for the Spring session. Enrollment is first come, first served.

No prior experience is necessary! This program welcomes all levels—the only requirement is a willingness to try.

Yes, every student will have an opportunity to perform a solo.

In addition to the one-hour weekly class, students are encouraged to practice their songs at home between classes.

This is a self-motivated course—what you put into it is what you will get out of it. Students should come prepared, stay engaged, and be open to learning.

One week before rehearsals begin, Micaela will send a welcome email with a link to Google Drive, where you can access lyrics and music tracks.
